It would appear that the fates are conspiring against me, and my next fest fic (if it's finished on time) or just... y'know, fic, will feature Severus Snape/Havelock Vetinari. Damn you all.

Hmmmm... words; Detain, Mellifluous, Tincture.

Pairings: Carrot/Charlie. Charlie can work at UU, they both have experience with dragons.
Angua/Remus if you want to throw some het in. AWWWWW! Cute cuddly werewolves. *huggles*

I'm gonna seperate those out, 'cos they're only 100 word fics! Five little drabbles coming shortly... (I've already written three HP and one Discworld tonight... I'm having *fun*!)

I've written an Angua/Remus; you're welcome to it if you want it, just say the word :)

Detain [Lars]

Severus had tried desperately to detain him. He’d told him they needed someone to remain at Headquarters. He’d reasoned that Harry was probably fine. He’d told him to stay. He’d as much as ordered him to remain in the house.

You would think he would have known him better, by now. After the fighting, the fucking, the licking and biting and screaming and holding…

And now… now he was gone. There was no more smell of wet dog in the house, and before tonight he would have said that could only be a good thing.

There was no good, here.

Mellifluous: Greebo/Rincewind

Mellifluous

Greebo followed the sound of the somewhat less-than-mellifluous voice, and ended up at a small creek. There was a man in it, washing. He was obviously not a resident of Lancre, otherwise he would never have left his clothes on a bank unless they had been placed inside a strongbox. A heavy strongbox. With a lock. He played briefly with the forlorn looking hat that said “Wizzard” in peeling letters, then dragged the hat, the robe, and the greying underpants into a bush. Then he crouched down, and concentrated, and changed, and sat back in wait…

Greebo liked to play.

By far my favourite! Rincewind introduced me to the Discworld, and I do love him. I also adore Greebo, especially in his cat-shape. Kitties are meant to be murderous bastards, after all. This is so dark and foreboding.

um... Greebo/Crookshanks? *runs away and hides*

Tincture: Lord Vetinari

Date: 2003-08-05 10:48 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] villainny.livejournal.com
Vetinari smiled only rarely. A raised eyebrow contained (depending on the context) a veritable wealth of emotion. It could signal displeasure, anger, regret, happiness… There was little need for more than one facial expression, when slight modifications to just one could convey all that needed to be conveyed.

He looked out of the window, at a particularly grey and smoggy afternoon in Ankh-Morpork. The light was fading, and as it did the fog cleared, just a little, enough to show stars. It was quite beautiful.

The tincture of night began to suffuse the soup of the afternoon.

Lord Vetinari smiled.

Please report at...your earliest convenience...so that I may interrogate you further.

SNAPE/HAVELOCK VETINARI!?

*squeals*

*nearly passes out*

I'm dying to see that! Will be funny since Pratchett (and me) want Rickman for Vetinari if a Discworld movie is ever to be made so it will be a bit like Snape screwing himself.

*grabs on your leg and won't let go*

Mim (giddy)

PS. Have you written Discworld slash? anything, any pairing, I'm so starved i'd read Colon/Nobbs

From: [identity profile] villainny.livejournal.com
Not yet. But... Damn. It's so hard to resist... there will likely be some soon. =)

From: [identity profile] mimine.livejournal.com
That's good to know. Sorry for coming on so strong, I had just seen the rec of your fest fic (Hidden) at Donna Immaculata's journal, reminded myself that I'd better read it again since I was half asleep when I first read it and couldn't remember much and seeing the promise of Snape/Vetinari just got me very excited [/understatement] Bit late to ask but I hope you don't mind that I friended you (usually people don't but it doesn't hurt to ask)

I'll be looking forward to any Discworld or Discworld/HP crossover fic. Hopefully Vetinari/Vimes (and not Vimes/Carrot, ugh, I absolutely don't get Vimes/Carrot) or Greebo... well Greebo anyone, he's sex on legs.

From: [identity profile] mimine.livejournal.com
*pets bunny* I like that one. Sirius was the one who came into my mind as well for Greebo. They sure have some things in common (sexy, can change from person to animal).

Other choice would be McGonagall, or Mrs Norris but that would be het. ew. Or Greebo/Crookshanks but would have to be in cat form and therefore not terribly exciting.

I'm so starved i'd read Colon/ Nobbs

*exhales sharply* Wow. OK. You are unsquickable.

Hihi - Nobbs/Blaise Zabini? What with all the right-sexual-identity issues?

Date: 2003-08-05 11:57 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] mimine.livejournal.com
What sexual identity crisis? *g* Blaise is a "he" in the Greek translation, we solved that problem just fine. Doubt Greek translator asked JKR of course.

And the crossover pairing would be Nobbs/Filch. Absolutely.

Lady in waiting: Nobbs/Filch

Date: 2003-08-06 11:41 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] villainny.livejournal.com
Filch hunched a little lower in his jacket, the warm smell of old wet leather and himself and Mrs Norris comforting him in this odd place. He wasn’t entirely sure why Dumbledore had insisted he accompany the headmaster here, but there were meetings going on that he wanted no part of. He’d come to the Shades. Even at Hogwarts, people knew of the Shades.

There was a lass standing in a doorway over the road that didn’t look too particular, swinging her handbag in a manner that suggested she wasn’t averse to giving a bit of pain…

Nobby waited, coyly.

Thanks for this

Crap, now I have to write one too, don't I?

Would you settle for a DW fic in which Vimes, Palm, Downey, and Boggis conspire to get the Patrician a Seamstress? It's coming along quite nicely. Drumknott's just about to put in his two cents (literally)...

Date: 2003-08-05 11:04 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] villainny.livejournal.com
Hehehe! Take your time, but I still demand Snapage. *g* I have no idea whether mine'll be ready for the fest- enjoying these bloody drabbles to much... =)

And the other fic looks great. I look forward to it.

Charlie/Carrot

The night was on fire. Red hair and smooth, muscled bodies; one pale and one covered with a million freckles- two million. More.

The bed springs creaked and almost concealed the soft exhalations and gasps that were the only sounds they could allow themselves. Mrs Palm, though tolerant of all kinds of reasonably priced love, preferred such things as these to be conducted in places other than her own- it wouldn’t be good for business to let people get ideas.

Eventually, there was silence. Apart from the pounding of two hearts that raced as fast as a forest fire spreads.

Remus/Angua

Date: 2003-08-05 11:10 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] villainny.livejournal.com
She was not the shape, the size, the colouring he usually went for… but she smelled so right. Like blood and sex and death and the hunt and the kill and the chase.

He licked her neck and thought of Sirius. As he fisted his hands in her long, golden hair, he imagined that they tangled in knots so ingrained that they’d eaten several combs. He thrust inside her, and he tried to block out her gasps, her soft cries. She didn’t sound like she was supposed to. She would never sound the same as…

But she smelled so right.

******************************************************

A/N be proud. I never write het- which was why I had to go with the slash twist to it. =)

This was 100 words without counting or tinkering. It just worked. Spooky, that.

Oh, Discworld slash. *in awe* Love Discworld slash. Love Remus/Angua het, too, although that's a bit obvious. How about some Tonks/Susan? Or Esmeralda/Minerva - the names sound so right together.

Nanny/Sprout? Sirius/Vimes? Nobby/Flitwick? Snape/Otto Chriek? Magrat/Trelawny? And I have got a soft spot for Reg Shoe...

Good God, girl, you gave me ideas!

Rickman for Vetinari! Yay!

And I have got a soft spot for Reg Shoe...

But...but... Reg Shoe has bits that come off! How can you slash him? More important, who can you slash him with? I guess a dead person would be best.

will not say Sirius, will not say Sirius...oops

Perhaps Nearly Headless Nick?

Date: 2003-08-06 10:52 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] donnaimmaculata.livejournal.com
You're right about the bits... Hmmm... I'm sure [livejournal.com profile] villainny can solve this problem in an elegant way. And since Reg is un-dead and Sirius is... Hold on! What if Sirius is undead as well? And what about Remus? Belong Potterverse werewolves to the undead community?

I asked [livejournal.com profile] villainny for Sirius/Death. Obvious, if you think about it.

Fresh Start: Black/Shoe

From: [identity profile] villainny.livejournal.com
There were the sounds of hurrying feet, two sets of hurrying feet, and then the door slammed shut behind them. Hurried disrobing, the ping of a button lost, and then there was silence for a few moments. The bed springs began to squeak rhythmically. Then Reg said angrily;

“You didn’t tell me you were a virgin!”

“I’m not a virgin. I had a boyfriend.”

“Been a long time, has it?”

*Pause for counting on fingers *

“About… thirteen years. Why?”

“Well… I didn’t expect you to be quite so tight.”

“Why does it matter.”

“Ummm…”

“Reg?”

“Well… it came off.”

I really like Susan and since she's always so edgy - maybe all she needs is some quality distraction? Oh well, I think I will post some ideas on my own LJ as not to spam your mailbox.

Death/Sirius. Yep. Definitely.

And [livejournal.com profile] mimine's idea to slash Nobby with Filch is sick, yet strangely compelling.

Not Technically Human: Death/Sirius

Date: 2003-08-06 11:21 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] villainny.livejournal.com
PLEASE STOP THAT.

Death, as an anthropomorphic personification, did not technically experience tactile sensation. It was all to do with the senses, and technically they were the province of humans alone. That didn’t stop him from stroking Susan’s soft hair. From enjoying the taste of a curry. Listening to a thousand screams, and cries, and pleas for mercy. Which he ignored.

So though he didn’t feel it, technically, he enjoyed the rough rasp of the black dog’s tongue at his ankle. And then the dog changed…

There had never before been anyone that tried to kiss Death. He liked it.

Ducks: Snape/Stibbons

Date: 2003-08-06 09:07 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] villainny.livejournal.com
The pale young man wandered into his quarters one morning, and stayed. He didn’t seem to have much idea what exactly he was doing there, but he was terribly interested in… well, everything. And Snape’s rudeness, and insults, and attempts to reclaim his privacy, were shrugged off like water off… something water won’t stay on.

You could get used to anyone in time, he supposed. There was something endearing about his childish curiosity, and he was interested in… well, everything. No one seemed to comment that Snape didn’t ask for another bed.

Ducks! That was what water came off! Ducks.
