I have this list of characters that I would give anything to feel good enough, clever or talented or well-read enough to RP. It's different from the one with all the people who would just be awesome to play; Torquil, say, or Chrestomanci. This one is about characters that I have on a kind of pedestal, I guess, the ones I want to be.

Right at the top, seriously - above Stephen Maturin, and Dr Iannis - is Sports Night's Isaac Jaffe. That man is who I want to be when I grow up.
