Favour: Richard Mayhew/ Marquis de Carabas

The Marquis lounged on an incongruous, broken down couch that sat at a junction in the tunnels.

Richard stumbled through one entrance, paused just long enough to pant, “huge, huge favour,” then hared off.

There were the sounds of pursuit, and two men ran in… and stopped abruptly when they saw the Marquis unfolding himself from his couch.

“Now boys,” he said pleasantly, “I hope there’s no trouble here?” There was something in his smile that made them back away.

He knew they wouldn’t follow him, and he didn’t have time to waste. After all, Richard owed him a favour…

Also, I'm still taking drabble challenges- gimme a word, or a pairing- the weirder the better. I want you to *worry* me. Beat Nobby Nobbs/Filch, or Mrs Norris/Death of Rats... I dares ya.
