nnyI've been on such a downer lately, I apologise. Here, as an act of, like, self motivation, is Stuff Wot I Has Achieved Recently:
- started a new course
- moved to a new town despite having No Fixed Abode for when I got there
- found out about and booked interim housing
- found a house, involving phonecalls to landlords, viewings, contract signings, all new and different to me
- gone out on two nights out at which I knew no one and held conversations
- attended all lectures, seminars etc. and done reading and homework tasks
- come up with two new fics that I'm gonna write as soon as I have my computer. Probably. ¬_¬
So not too hideous. It's just been a collection of tiny difficulties which've snowed me under a little. ALL WILL BE WELL. I can totally cope, these last couple of weeks have proved that if nothing else. And as soon as I move into my new house I suspect a lot of things will get much easier and I'll be considerably less stressed. Also, ohpleasegod, I'll have a comfier bed because I am having serious trouble sleeping. So yes... horizon? Shiny. Tunnel? Still here, yes, but potentially endy.
Just hope I'm in this frame of mind after I've actually started at my school... :D
ETA: Also! I forgot to mention, I appear to have accidentally made friends with the hottest guy on the course. I don't see it myself, personally, and think his mate's way hotter, but when he greeted me and had a chat over lunch the other lasses I was sitting with were just all :O!!!! YOU ARE FRIENDS WITH THE GOD!!! I may have died laughing, a bit. XD
