Well, this is it. I'm moving back to Cardiff again tomorrow morning- I've been feverishly packing all day (scratch that. I've been vaguely packing, interspersed with reading Neverwhere and plotting a Richard/Marquis story) and soon I will be gone. This means no more internet connection for me. I'll still be around on my LJ, but I don't know if I'll have access to AIM, YM or MSN messenger. Which sucks.

I went out last night, to the local metal club. I met a nice lad, and chatted to him, and then my best friend walked up, his eyes glazed over, and he ceased to talk to me. Ain't it always the way?

It's still hot here. Ridiculously so. Apparently, it's even *hotter* in Cardiff. I can't wait for winter.

Yeah. Sorry- not a particularly chirpy entry today. I'll try to find something to cheer me up, and be back later with bounciness for you. *g*

For what it's worth (not a lot I suppose), I know a number of people who went to Cardiff University and had a wonderful time and found it a really intellectually stimulating environment. Their English program (although I can't recall offhand whether they distinguish Language from Lit) is particularly notable.

So have a great time.

I have to laugh when English people complain about the heat. Try Australia next January.

That's been my ideal travel destination for years. Don't ask me why; I'm weird. If there was room in the physics course program to have a semester abroad, I'd be going, but there isn't. :(

Out of curiosity, how hot is it? We've had a really cool August, which is odd. It's only 81F.
