Men with Brooms is my favorite Paul Gross movie EVER. It doesn't matter when I come into it, if it's playing on television when I'm flipping channels I'm gonna watch the rest of it. And if I haven't seen it in a few weeks, I'll pop in the DVD because it always makes me happy.

Of course :) I was just mentioning WW at the DS Noticeboard yesterday about how it's such a marvelous, quiet movie. All their friends coming together to make this massively amazing movie that just makes you feel warm inside.

It's not fair to compare MWB and WW...they're not comparable. MWB illicits immediate happiness while WW is more slow happiness that grows. (And I can still claim MWB as my favorite Paul Gross movie because then I can say WW is my favorite Callum Keith Rennie movie;)

I think Rodney would love curling: it's got all the pure-physics action/reaction beauty of a pool table, only way more hardcore.

Not to mention that all that lunging would offer a plausible explanation for the much-admired shapeliness of David Hewlett's Dr. McKay's butt. ;-)

“Practising the uncle thing,” Rodney answered, clearly uncomfortable. “Are we going?”

“Yesterday he taught me about Hail Marys,” Anta piped up cheerfully, and for the first time in a while John’s grin lasted back to Atlantis.




I'm eager to change it so Rodney likes curling - it'd make me happy - I'm just English and unable to watch hockey. :D
