Jan. 6th, 2008 08:54 pmI am cold enough that I'm keeping my feet bent in the hopes that when I unbend them they'll shatter, like that guy in the X-files who got his head stuck in liquid nitrogen and was dropped. Seriously, the chalk outline in that episode was one of the funniest moments in my formative years; does that explain why I love Bones so much?

gramarye1971 and my mother for making my homecoming so awesome, and thank you also to whoever sent me a package that's still at the post office awaiting collection. Hugely happyfaced, and I think a major part of that is actually my mother. She sent me an email while I was in Chicago saying she was proud of me and thought I was awesome for going to meet up with Milliways folk, and I came home to find a huge white sweatshirt with beautiful grey/black urban-kinda-design wings on the back because she thought I'd like it because of Aziraphale.
Considering that this is the woman that last year came into my room and cried all over me because she thought I was in a cult, I'm hugely impressed with and proud of and pleased by her progress in terms of a)Teh Internets and b)actually listening to what I say. The fact that I don't have anything really to do with
milliways_bar any more is irrelevant.
I have to go write a critique of an article, now. This is interesting, because I have no idea at all what that entails or what they're expecting of me. The word 'meep' comes to mind, rather...
