OotP re-reading

nnyI will likely come up with a few more things when I've finished re-reading this book, but I have a theory I'd like to share. Well... not so much a theory as a speculation. It makes *me* happy. =)
In Dumbledore's office, he speaks to the portraits of "Everard and Dilys". They were apparently two of Hogwarts' most celebrated Heads. This is incredibly tenuous, but JKR described Everard as sallow-skinned, with black hair, and I instantly though SNAPE! Possibly he's an ancestor of some kind?
It's very unlikely, but it does appeal to my sense of irony that Black would be related to one of the most hated heads, and Snape to one of the most loved.
Plus... I just like the idea of there being someone called "Everard Snape"...
