Man, I wish mcsmooch was running, or something. I feel a restless need to prove to myself that my writing doesn't make people's eyes bleed, but I can't think about writing anything of substance without tensing up. For some absurd reason writing for mcshep_match has freaked me out.

Maybe take a look at QueerlyGen (http://queerlygen.dreamwidth.org/)? There's a prompt fest (http://queerlygen.dreamwidth.org/2324.html) with posting starting in a week, and after that it opens for posting of any gen works about queer and genderqueer characters. Substance not required! :)
