WTF? It's not normal to have a slowly increasing allergy, is it? Hazelnuts and brazilnuts and walnuts I knew about, but now almonds too? This sucks. I NEED PROTEIN, OKAY? atm I'm okay with peanuts, cashews, pecans, macadamias, pine nuts and pistachios, but then again I thought I was okay with almonds and the tingling and the swelly throat says different. I POUT. I think I'm gonna have to forget about the whole vegetarian thing, if only so that the list of foods I can actually eat doesn't become absurdly short. XD

Hmph. I need some juice. And the ability to swallow.

My sister is massively allergic to almonds in particular, so I'd be careful and not push your luck, especially since sweet almond oil is used in loads of stuff (including things like Johnson's Baby Shampoo, because it's considered to be hypoallergenic...) :( *hugs*

Btw I have a nut-allergic vegan aunt! If you want to stay veggie, I could ask her for tips? xx

I'd really appreciate that! It's the intersection with the gluten intolerance that makes it the most difficult - a lot of veggie alternatives have wheat in. :/
