Tell me one of your personal quirks.

I was talking about this with [livejournal.com profile] indy_go earlier. Personally? I like order, but not symmetry. I rarely wear matching earrings, and as soon as I get the money together I intend to get more piercings so I end up with three in each ear, but I really don't want them to match. Related to this, in my head at least, is the fact that I really love poetry and the various carefully planned forms it can take, but I am not fond of traditional ABAB rhyme.

I also wear odd socks, but I suspect this may simply be down to laziness.

WHY AM I SO BLOODY ENGLISH?

I can't tell these people beside me to shut the fuck up, despite the fact that we're in a fucking library, to all intents and purposes, and they WILL NOT SHUT UP!

From a reading for my course:

The avatar is like a Rorschach inkblot, or the Draw-a-House/Person/Tree Test, or any work of art. It is selected from personal imagination. Consciously or unconsciously, people condense a multitude of meaning into it. They project their personality into it - who they are, who they wish to be, what they fear, what moves them.

So here's an idea. Choose one of your icons, and post it up in your journal. Then ask people to comment with the first thing that comes to mind when they see that icon- whether it's associated with the image, the text, or with the identity/mood they project on you when you're using it, whatever. Free association. See if anything fits.

I'm gonna have to put up my new default, 'cos it makes me happy.

I'm big with the memes tonight. Can you tell I have homework to do? *g*

Think about it.

And then wish you hadn't.

ONE MORE. I promise. Really. One more, and I'm done.

What's a line from a film that you've ALWAYS wanted an excuse to use? Something you'd never say but DAMN do you want to.

Personally I'm quite fond of "I love the way your foul little mind works": Jafar to Iago, in Aladdin. I'm always too scared of giving offense...
