Date: 2004-11-08 11:05 am (UTC)"Mary Sue had beautiful raven locks. Only they weren't really raven, they were more a dull black, like matt paint on a radiator. Date: 2004-11-08 05:08 pm (UTC)And no, you're definitely not the only one who's never written a Mary-Sue. My very first fanfic was an all-canon cast adventure story, and my first naughty fanfic slashed two eccentric middle-aged assassins ;-)

Date: 2004-11-08 06:44 pm (UTC)No, you're not the only one. I've never written a Mary Sue. I went straight to slash, or at least to buddy, hurt-comfort fics, because I was too young to have a firm handle on sex when I started writing. Never had the urge to insert a Mary Sue. Most of my female characters, on their rare appearances, are beautiful but really fucked up.
