Your brain: 80% interpersonal, 20% visual, 240% verbal, and 60% mathematical!
Congratulations on being 400% smart! Actually, on my test, everyone is. The above score breaks down what kind of thinking you most enjoy
doing. A score above 100% means you use that kind of thinking more than
average, and a score below 100% means you use it less. It says nothing
about how good you are at any one, just how interested you are in each, relatively. A substantial difference in scores between two people means, conclusively, that they are different kinds of thinkers.

Matching Summary: Each of us has different tastes. Still, I offer the following advice, which I think is obvious:

  1. Don't date someone if your interpersonal percentages differ by more than 80%.
  2. Don't be friends with someone if your verbal percentages differ by more than 100%.
  3. Don't have sex with someone if their math percentage is over 200%.

It's pretty much what I'd expected, really, but dang. I wish I were more capable of using it. I am a very verbal person, and I have a much larger vocabulary than you'd expect considering the way in which I express myself. I think the problem is that I have never been used to using my vocabulary. I can recognise a wide range of words in books, I know what they mean and how to use them, but nine times out of ten my only contact with them has been textual (oh baby). My fear of looking like an idiot over pronunciation has meant that I don't tend to use the vocabulary I have, which has switched over into my writing as well. It's a shame. Maybe I need a word of the day calendar, or some such.

I know what they mean and how to use them, but nine times out of ten my only contact with them has been textual (oh baby). You should have seen me in my Oxford interview. Not only did I make pronunciation mistakes, but I tried to explain why; an explanation which amounted to stuttering about having more contact with books than real-life-speaking-people.

I'm serious.

oooooh yummy icon.

And *pets* I didn't even apply for highbrow universities because, essentially, I'm a lazy fucker. Also, I come across...

Actually, I don't know how I come across. I always think I come across kinda stupid, because I don't talk much, but people always seem to perceive me as intelligent and 'mysterious'.

Weirdos.

I think I weird people out, IRL, frankly. I tend to be very     quiet     and     not     talk     much     for     long     stretches     of     time, and then suddenly something will catch my interest and I'll be off babbling-really-quickly-and-loudly-and-non-stop-and-making-*extravagant-hand-gestures*-and-using-big-words until suddenly, I run dry, and go very     quiet     again.

I can't say I noticed the quiet overmuch.

*grins*

Possibly because there was lots of talk of Milliways.

Now see, the issue I have with this test is that it doesn't actually measure your ability practically. I mean, it asks you whether you'd rather solve a math or word problem, but it doesn't give you the problems to solve. So it's suspect in that way. The only real way to discern the forms of intelligence is to put tests before people and observe how they solve them, or to provide them with information and see how they absorb it. Math geeks and art geeks both love Legos, but for totally different reasons -- math geeks like their component shape, their precision, their calculable value, their measurable tensile strength in an engineering sense. Art geeks look at legos and think "Finally, I can build a monster!"

I think the problem is that I have never been used to using my vocabulary.

Eheheheh. You know what the solution is. Write mooooooore fiiiiiiic.....*swings hypnotic watch in front of your eyes*

It is suspect, yeah, but everything comes out with my high on the verbal skillz. It also explains why I was having such a fuck of a time writing the RP fight the other day. I genuinely have problems visualising things.

And I wrote yesterday! And Sophie is demanding a drabbley thing today, so I'll probably do that too...

*sighs*

My life is so hard.

Infinitely difficult. >:D<

You are very verbally skilled, it's quite true. I wasn't disputing so much as reminding not to take memes like that too seriously. *pets*

3. Don't have sex with someone if their math percentage is over 200%.

... that doesn't bode well for the future ...
