You have done well. Very, very well. I do have to wonder at anyone who doesn't see this. I keep imagining the ship's crew at the start of their trip, loading the boat with gunpowder, rum, food, clothes, weapons of war... cello?

Other Jack probably turns up later to rescue Stephen from pirates. And Stephen emphatically does not want to be rescued. And then Jack has moral dilemma because he's legally obliged to hang the pirates off the yard arm only there's Stephen and there are lots of terribly reasonable arguments and pleading for Stephen to come back only "No, Jack. I've found somewhere my 'damned hobbies' are appreciated." *hurt look*

Not the hurt look! You know Jack hates himself for it! He has to, so that he can ANGST. And Stephen would be very upset if he hung these pirates. But Stephen can't be a pirate! This never would have happened if it wasn't for those damned Galapagos sea turtles! DRAMA.
