Weird request: Please could you link to or comment with a picture of your favourite flower?

My flower knowledge is seriously lacking, and people ask me what my favourite flower is and I have no idea. I used to say daisies but it's not them, really; I love passion flowers because they're weird and gorgeous, but I can't decide on a favourite if I have no idea what I'm talking about, right? Plus the thought of a bunch of flowers in post comments makes me happy.

They're versatile - nice plotted plants, bit out of the ordinary, that like to skulk in the dark. At least mine insists that it can by no means live on the window sill - eeep sunny!! - and has to hide in a corner of my book shelf.

Also, I didn't manage to kill it yet. Just the right sort of plant for me.

Peace lilies! They're my mom's favourite. We have a ginormous one in my living room. They are very difficult to kill. If you forget to water them for a few months they'll stop flowering, but the plant itself will just be a little pissed off at you. ( :

Mine hasn't been flowering for ages, even though I do water it. Well, sorta semi-regularly. It must be really pissed off at me.

Maybe it's just ornery. You might try a plant food, like Miracle Grow. The other possibility is that it's root-bound, and needs a bigger pot.
