I decided to search for something on google. This is not a rare occurrence. What is a rare occurrence is that I don't in fact type www.google.com into my address bar. Every time I search for something I type www.google.com into my address bar, even though I actually have a google toolbar.

This time, I stopped myself. "Self," I said to myself, "you have a google toolbar, with handily provided google box to type your search term into. No more will you have to wait for the google page to load before you start your search! No more will you have to remember the ever so complicated URL!"

So, all proud of myself, I typed directly into the google search box. And the page of search results came up and lo, I did laugh myself sick and whack myself in the face with the palm of my hand. 'cos I'd typed in 'google'.
