Hair: Sirius/Remus

“Kneel down, Sirius.”

It wasn’t like that. It hadn’t been like that for years. Not that he didn’t miss it… he just thought that Sirius needed a little more time before he was ready.

Sirius knelt between his legs, and he started to comb through the tangled hair, carefully picking knots apart with his fingers, his face reflecting every wince. Eventually the hair was smooth again, and he brushed a hand over it lightly. He looked down, and met Sirius’ eyes… He started to lean forward.

“Harry’s in trouble!” Snape’s voice.

“Later.” Softly. There was a promise in Sirius’ eyes.
